Cartographer’s Notes is a one-of-a-kind handmade queen quilt featuring a cool gray ground with geometric patchwork in charcoal, deep red, taupe, and softly weathered neutrals.
Angular forms move across the surface among textural prints that suggest old maps, ledgers, and marked-up pages. Deep charcoal and oxblood accents give the composition structure, while the generous gray ground keeps the overall effect light and balanced. The mix of precise geometry and irregular printed detail gives Cartographer’s Notes a collected, almost archival character without feeling overtly traditional.
Designed for rooms, not seasons, it works especially well with walnut and other warm woods, charcoal, deep green, burgundy, leather, natural linen, and quieter neutral interiors. Its restrained palette allows it to move comfortably between traditional, contemporary, and more architectural spaces.
Made with quality cotton fabrics and finished as a durable, functional quilt intended to be used, layered, and lived with for years.
