The Archivist is a one-of-a-kind handmade queen quilt featuring a warm ivory ground with geometric patchwork in deep brown, muted blue, taupe, rust, and softly weathered neutrals.
The palette draws from old book bindings, watercolor pigments, and pages that have softened with age. Angular patchwork forms move across generous negative space, while small dark geometric accents give the composition rhythm and structure. Printed fabrics introduce subtle fragments of color and detail, creating a layered surface that rewards a closer look without overwhelming the room.
Designed for rooms, not seasons, The Archivist pairs naturally with walnut and aged oak, linen, parchment tones, charcoal, muted blue, leather, and deeper wine or brown accents. Its balance of traditional patchwork vocabulary and restrained contemporary styling allows it to move easily between collected, transitional, and modern interiors.
Made with quality cotton fabrics and finished as a durable, functional quilt intended to be used, layered, and lived with for years.
